Breaking bread
We simply love food. We’re kind of obsessed. We are the live to eat kind of people and we believe that food should be nourishing, enjoyable, and shared with loved ones. Our kitchens are a creative gathering space where ingredients transform into recipes and our dining tables become a platform for meaningful connection and conversation. Life can get ahead of us, but sharing a meal with loved ones gives us an opportunity to slow down and connect.
Making your own food is a journey, and we are here for it. We live in Southern California and the food scene is booming. Trust that we appreciate the occasional dinner outing (especially when grandparents can cover for a night). We travel often and find inspiration from culinary experiences abroad as well. Some of the best meals come out of our home kitchens because they are true expressions of love and they are shared with those that are most important in our lives.
Making bread the common thread
We’re two batches baking what is commonly known as BREAD. Our obsession with food brought us together, but it was a shared passion for sourdough - the common thread - that led us to Common Bread.
