Bread is more than the sum of its parts. Bread is a source of life - a fuel for our survival. It is cross-cultural and can be found in different forms, shapes, and sizes all over the world. Fresh baked bread is engrained in us and could be argued as the single food source that connects us all - the common thread.

The difference is in the dough

Bread is a universal food, but do not be mistaken, not all bread is made equally. Let’s be clear, when referring to “bread”, we mean naturally leavened - aka sourdough - bread that undergoes a fermentation process and does not contain any added leavening (rising) agents or other artificial additives. Naturally leavened, fermented sourdough bread is more nutritious, easier to digest, and provides healthy food for a happy gut.

Fall in love with bread

Prioritize the dough! We trust that with a little coordination, you can find and make time to make your own sourdough. We know you will fall in love with it. There are many approaches to making sourdough bread, however, with only three simple ingredients (flour, water and salt) to start, the element of time, and a little bit of craft (that’s where you come in), you can make your own wholesome, delicious, and nutritious bread.
